Long Haul Technician (Portland to California)

About the role

This role is designed as a technician‑first position, combining hands‑on technical skill development with proactive fiber route patrol and damage prevention responsibilities. The role operates with a high degree of independence and serves as a subject matter expert in field technician work, damage prevention, route patrol, and locating activities.

Requirements

• Located within a 30‑minute commute of the Portland, OR; Eugene, OR; Sacramento, CA; Bakersfield, CA; or Palmdale, CA metro areas.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis (no employer‑sponsored work authorization such as OPT, TN, H1B, etc.).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant field or construction experience preferred.
