Lollypop Machine Operator

As a Lollypop Machine Operator, you will operate and maintain wrapping machines to ensure efficient packing and production while upholding our commitment to quality without compromise.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines, make necessary adjustments, and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
• Monitor and inspect products for consistency and defects, making corrections as needed to ensure quality.
• Document production data, including downtime.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with housekeeping standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including OSHA regulations and lockout/tagout requirements.
• Operate and monitor candy forming and wrapping machines.
• Inspect candy consistency in size and shape.
• Adjust machine settings for different candy types or production requirements.
• Install and adjust parts as needed for proper operation and defect control.
• Follow food safety requirements and hygiene protocols.
• Document all downtimes from operated equipment.
• Direct personnel within specific operations surrounding your equipment.

Requirements

• Operate and maintain the following equipment:
  • Lollypop forming and wrapping equipment.
  • Little pop forming and wrapping equipment.
  • Little pop packing equipment.
• Use tools such as approved scrappers, scissors, knife cutters, and screwdrivers.
• Knowledge of and adherence to:
  • Food Safety practices.
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, including sleeves, gloves, safety shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs.
