About the Role

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Project Management Analyst to support government contracting operations by overseeing project tracking, financial analysis, and operational coordination.

Responsibilities

• Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
• Affirms project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
• Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
• Affords assistance in developing contract required products to include technical direction plans, rough order of magnitude pricing, and management of the risk register.

Requirements

• 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience supporting complex technical projects and/or programs within the Department of Defense (DOD).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and other project management software.
• Strong organization and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of tools like MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with a functionally diverse team.
• Strong working knowledge of DOD project management standards, risk management practices and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Cleared to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Preferred Requirements

• Project Management Professional or other project management certification.
• Familiarity with DOD-specific project management methodologies, processes, and reporting tools such as MS Projects.
