Logistics Technician II

Responsibilities

• Internal and third-party logistics, including shipping and receiving, and inventory and asset management using established standard operating procedures and policies.
• Aid customers on the Data Center floor both in person and via the telephone, perform customer equipment storage, manage tickets within the defined ticketing system, and communicate and escalate alerts and customer requests to DCO Technicians for resolution.
• May also be responsible for team lead responsibilities.
• On-site work hours to support a 24X7X365 data center environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience in logistics-related functions (shipping & receiving, inventory control).
• Two or more years’ experience in logistics-related functions (shipping & receiving, inventory control, forklift experience).
• One or more years of experience working in a Data Center, NOC, or similar environment.
