As Logistics Support Lead you act as a leader within the Logistics Support team as well as an active driver. You will be responsible for maintaining positive customer relations and play a key role in representing the Wyld brand. This position is a front-facing role that provides direct support to Wyld’s clients and customers. They ensure strong ties with our customers by timely delivering Wyld products, providing excellent customer service, maintaining relationships while at accounts, and being a subject matter expert on company background and product knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Comply with traffic legislation, be conscious of road safety, and demonstrate safe driving habits.
- Conduct inspections of vehicles before loading product and departing for deliveries.
- Ensure the safety, security, accuracy, and efficiency of the loading and unloading process to hit KPIs.
- Deliver orders following detailed route instructions in state territory.
- Unload goods and review deliveries with clients to ensure products meet their needs.
- Accurately manage monetary transactions.
- Merchandising and relationship building while at accounts.
- Attend events, partnerships, and promotional opportunities to represent and promote Wyld.
- Educate customers, consumers, and budtenders about the brand and products.
- Lead budtender educations at dispensaries.
- Act as a subject matter expert on all Wyld products, pricing, and nuances.
- Support the Logistics Managers with creation and communication of routes, schedules for deliveries, payment picks, ERP processes, and education sessions (EDUs).
- Assist in event planning, scheduling, management, and CRM processes.
- Maintain relationships and communication with 3rd party route providers and update applicable route information.
- Support the team operation if the Logistics Manager is out of the office.
- Provide alternate weekend and evening coverage with Managers to act as the point of contact for the team.
- Lead by example and be a positive influence on the Logistics Support team.
- Assist with onboarding and training as needed.
- Complete and report on market intel.
- Attend events to provide additional support and real-time feedback from Logistics Support.
- Oversee and manage inventory of event stock including swag, unmedicated sample supplies, collateral, and other items.
- Execute administrative responsibilities including daily reporting into CRM, mileage and expense reporting, and internal logs for vehicle and SWAG checkout.
- Assist Sales Account Managers and other sales staff by providing market and competitive insights, assessing industry trends, and communicating clients' needs.
- Maintain ongoing communication with Logistics Manager and log all feedback and daily tasks into company CRM.
- Understand state-level regulations and internal policies ensuring proper field execution and internal communication.
- Provide support with fulfillment and inventory-related activities such as picking and packing, labeling of finished good units, staging of outgoing orders, and bulk movement of goods.
- Open availability for 40 hours a week of work, especially Monday-Friday with flexible start times.
Requirements
- 1+ year of delivery driving experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data analysis, Google Apps, and Salesforce CRM a plus.
- Active state-issued driver's license and maintained clean driving record.
- Reliable personal vehicle to utilize for marketing events (mileage reimbursement is covered at federal rate).
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written; Spanish proficiency a plus.
- Hours are likely to vary based on the needs of the business.
- Must obtain state-required permits, licenses, and/or certifications.
- ServSafe Food Handler’s Card preferred.
- Willing to submit to a background check, including a motor vehicle report.
- State regulations require all applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
- Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Driving in state territory utilizing company or personal vehicle as needed.
- Overnight stays when needed to support longer routes (lodging and meals covered by company).
- Vision requirement to meet state and Motor Vehicle standards.

Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week, primarily Monday–Friday with flexible start times. Alternate weekend and evening coverage may be required.
