Logistics Supervisor - (Logistics, CA)

Responsibilities

• Direct, develop, or perform logistics management operations related to Ordnance, including planning, coordinating, and evaluating logistical actions that support specified missions, weapons systems, or designated programs.
• Conduct periodic independent systems evaluations and develop recommendations for system improvements based on thorough studies and analysis.
• Monitor compliance with Federal and DoD regulations, ensuring adherence to all relevant guidelines and protocols.
• Collaborate and plan with various personnel to coordinate and integrate operations and interests of other organizations effectively.
• Take responsibility for planning, managing, and coordinating the total cradle-to-grave life cycle logistics for assigned systems or subsystems, integrating separate functions of supply, maintenance, procurement, and quality assurance of logistics activities needed to sustain system fielding.
• Gather facts and develop appropriate solutions to problems that require command attention due to their critical nature and high visibility.

Job Requirements

• ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance
• Five years of logistics experience relating to Ordnance
• Three years of management experience with DoD contracts, ensuring quality of products and services, schedules, cost control, business relations, and management of personnel
• Proven track record of planning, directing, coordinating, and managing administrative activities of contracts
• Experience in reviewing and maintaining the quality of technical work done on programs
• Ability to assure and monitor the timeliness and quality of all work products
• Proficiency in monitoring and reporting task order performance and financial status
• Strong skills in budget control, schedule management, and task execution
