Logistics Student Intern

About the role

Assist the Logistics team in daily activities by supporting import and export processes, organizing documentation, communicating with suppliers and service providers, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, aiming at learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Aid in preparing and organizing documentation for logistics and import and export processes
• File and maintain updated and easily accessible records (physical or digital)
• Maintain oversight and support management of logistics and import/export processes, including tracking deadlines and updating status
• Communicate with suppliers, customs brokers, carriers, and other partners
• Follow up and confirm receipt of documents
• Create and update reports and tracking spreadsheets
• Support management of internal systems and databases related to foreign trade and logistics
• Conduct research on customs and foreign trade regulations
• Stay updated on changes in applicable laws and regulations
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements
• Support the implementation of new projects or procedures
• Comply with internal policies and procedures, including quality and compliance standards
• Aid in preparations for audits and internal reviews

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Relations, or related fields
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• Basic understanding of import/export and logistics processes
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Previous internship or academic experience in foreign trade or logistics is a plus
