Job Overview

The Logistics team at Lavazza North America supports supply chain execution and customer service excellence by managing the flow of goods across inbound, outbound, and fulfillment operations. The team partners closely with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, Lavazza Headquarters, demand and supply planning, customer service, and commercial teams to maintain inventory availability, improve stock alignment, and support efficient order fulfillment. Through data-driven reporting, process improvement, and proactive risk identification, the team helps optimize service, cost, and quality while enabling continued growth across eCommerce and other business channels.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and plan inbound product flows for Lavazza North America eCommerce third-party logistics (3PL) partners.
  • Partner with Lavazza Headquarters to provide stakeholders with visibility into eCommerce stock availability.
  • Identify critical gaps, at-risk items, and inventory risks, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain eCommerce inventory levels based on allocated demand while supporting storage and handling cost optimization.
  • Execute excess stock reduction initiatives to achieve inventory and cost targets.
  • Collaborate with demand planning, supply planning, and customer service teams to support timely and accurate order processing.
  • Reconcile stock alignment between Lavazza and 3PL partner systems to support accurate fulfillment operations.
  • Analyze key performance indicator (KPI) reporting and recommend service improvements for eCommerce 3PL partners.
  • Implement process improvements, fulfillment procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and metrics that improve service, cost, and quality.
  • Coordinate eCommerce projects from a supply chain and logistics perspective.

Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics, inventory management, supply chain operations, or eCommerce fulfillment within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry; coffee or beverage experience preferred.
  • Experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) partner relationships, inbound flows, outbound flows, and stock reconciliation.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management System (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), SAP, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel for inventory analysis and reporting.
  • Experience analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying inventory risks, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Experience partnering with demand planning, supply planning, customer service, and external fulfillment partners.
  • Experience developing or refining standard operating procedures (SOPs), fulfillment processes, or customer operations metrics.
  • Project management experience supporting supply chain, logistics, or eCommerce initiatives preferred.
