The Logistics Specialist (LS) loads and unloads tires for warehouse storage and timely customer delivery, including unloading and staging products at the customer’s business location. The LS represents TireHub professionally in all customer interactions, maintains safe driving practices, and delivers exceptional customer service to foster strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, inspect, and tally tires to and from transport vehicles (trailer trucks, box trucks, delivery vans).
  • Follow TireHub safety standards for selecting, packing, counting, labeling, and palletizing customer orders; position them in designated locations using the bin locator system.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Conduct and participate in cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of regularly scheduled and annual inventory control procedures.
  • Collect payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions.
  • Ensure vehicles remain clean and in good mechanical/physical condition.
  • Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections daily and report any operational issues or mechanical defects.
  • Complete all necessary driver and vehicle maintenance logs regularly.
  • Ensure compliance with all TireHub policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training through in-class, in-person, or computer-based learning modules.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by a supervisor or leadership member.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of general work experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years of driving history (does not include driver’s permit).
  • Must be 19 years old or older.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50 lbs) with or without mechanical assistance.
  • Capable of frequent bending, twisting, and lifting.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accurately and efficiently load, unload, and place tires in warehouse and delivery vehicles.
  • Ability to work up to 35 feet above ground-level.
  • Ability to work up to 8 hours per day on a forklift.
  • Follow traffic rules and regulations by safely driving TireHub vehicles to deliver tires to customer locations.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Manifest, GPS, and Navigation systems.
  • Must maintain forklift certification and a valid driver’s license.
  • Must not exceed 400 pounds in weight or 6 feet 3 inches in height to meet equipment safety restraints.

Working Conditions

  • Required to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50 lbs or greater with or without mechanical assistance).
  • Regularly stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb, and balance.
  • May handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment (gloves, protective eyewear, etc.).
  • Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Work in various settings, ranging from non-climate-controlled warehouses to customer locations.
  • Extended day, evening, and weekend work (including Saturday) may be required with little or no advanced notice.
  • Driving during the night or in inclement weather may be required.

Pay

Starting wage of $21.00 per hour with guaranteed increases of $2.00 over your first year of employment.

Schedule

Monday through Saturday – fluctuating day shift hours.
