LOGISTICS SPECIALIST (AUTO REPAIR PARTS) San Diego, CA

Key Responsibilities

• Research parts, service procedures, and tool requirements for automotive, heavy truck, construction, and related equipment.
• Use manuals, vendor communication, and online resources to identify and price parts and services.
• Maintain storeroom stock levels for common service items and recommend reorder levels based on usage and demand.
• Document market research and provide findings to government purchase card representatives for procurement action.
• Support shop cleanliness and maintenance-related logistics functions.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a mechanic or repair parts clerk in a commercial or government automotive/heavy equipment shop.
• ASE P1 or P2, or direct experience ordering repair parts as a primary duty for an automotive dealer or military maintenance activity.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain 95% ordering accuracy.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Inventory/storeroom experience
• Government purchasing familiarity
• NSS/SOF support experience
