Logistics Specialist

About the role

Primarily manage all aspects of shipping routes and delivery, specifically with regard to customer satisfaction. Proactively anticipates and defuses potential customer and vendor problems related to freight, packaging and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Communicate internally and externally regarding transportation requirements.
• Process customer requests for industry compliance.
• Work with suppliers and Product Engineering to ensure that all necessary documents are received and customer requests are fulfilled in a timely manner.
• Pull, stage, and QA orders for delivery.
• Receive and put away all deliveries.
• Manage goods receiving in SAP.
• Manage all aspects of the material trackers including reporting.
• Resolve AP issues and track all deliveries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Skills

• Warehouse operations, inventory control, asset management.
• Proficiency with SAP (or similar ERP system) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to recommend and implement process improvements.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize within many different projects.
• Strong reporting skills.
• Excellent time management.
