Key Responsibilities
- Cook up and oversee logistics support for T&E events, including planning, execution, and post-event activities
- Support the life cycle logistics for surface support craft, including maintenance, repair, and sustainment efforts
- Track, manage, and keep inventory of equipment, materials, and supplies
- Prepare and maintain logistics documentation, reports, and records in line with DoD and Navy standards
- Coordinate transportation, shipping, and receiving of equipment and materials
- Collaborate with government personnel, contractors, and vendors to ensure prompt logistics support
- Assist in configuration management and asset tracking using approved systems
- Support maintenance planning and scheduling for surface craft and associated systems
- Affirm compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Identify and implement process improvements to boost logistics efficiency and effectiveness
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent (an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of logistics experience, preferably supporting DoD or Navy programs
- Experience supporting Test & Evaluation (T&E) environments
- Knowledge of surface craft operations and maintenance logistics is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with logistics and asset management systems
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting NSWC or similar Navy commands
- Familiarity with Navy supply systems (e.g., R-Supply, OMMS-NG)
- Understanding of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) principles
- An active or ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
