Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage internal parts escalation activities affecting production and operational goals.
  • Lead cross-functional root cause investigations for material shortages, inventory inaccuracies, and process failures.
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions to improve parts availability and inventory accuracy.
  • Track, analyze, and communicate escalation trends, recurring issues, and performance metrics.
  • Develop, document, and maintain logistics coordinator standard work.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement activities focused on safety, quality, velocity, and cost.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for material flow and escalation management processes.
  • Partner with production, planning, procurement, engineering, and warehouse teams to identify and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Maintain and analyze data using SAP, Microsoft Office, and other business systems.
  • Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and support implementation efforts.
  • Aid in training and onboarding team members on logistics processes, systems, and standard work expectations.
  • Support special projects and operational initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, material planning, inventory control, or warehousing.
  • Previous experience identifying and resolving inventory, material flow, or supply chain issues.
  • Intermediate computer skills required, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience facilitating root cause analysis methodologies and corrective action processes.
  • Experience developing and maintaining standard work documentation.
  • Knowledge of material planning, production support, and inventory management processes.
  • Experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives.
  • Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
  • Associate degree, technical degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Required: Associate degree, technical degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: Previous experience in logistics, material planning, inventory control, or warehousing.

Skills

  • ERP systems experience (SAP / Mach 1 for example).
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Great communication across teams and departments.

Schedule

Openings available on 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 06:00 a.m. - 02:00 p.m. Overtime opportunities may be available on a voluntary basis based on business needs and with leader prior authorization. All initial communication and status updates will be via email.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 35 lbs frequently.
  • Sit, stand, and walk throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Work at multiple heights and in varying production environments.
  • Operate material handling equipment as required.
  • Use fine motor skills and perform repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling, and rotating motions.
  • Work in environments with changing temperatures and production-related noise levels.

Work Environment

  • Support operations in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
  • Communicate and collaborate with multiple functions throughout the facility.
  • Utilize SAP, Microsoft Office products, and other business systems regularly.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving activities that support operational performance.
