Logistics Officer

AmeriPro Health is seeking a Logistics Fleet Manager to oversee ambulance fleet readiness, vehicle maintenance coordination, equipment functionality, and operational support across daily EMS operations. This position ensures vehicles are safe, properly maintained, and ready for service while supporting compliance with organizational standards and operational demands.

Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day execution of supply chain and inventory procedures.
- Review sealed bin inventories, equipment logs, and shortage reports from VSTs.
- Approve routine supply runs and coordinate equipment exchanges between shifts.
- Resolve issues escalated by VSTs that require cross-shift coordination.
- Communicate supply shortages and equipment failures to the Logistics Manager.
Scope of Authority: Approve supply orders, resource reallocation between stations, and staffing adjustments within logistics. Escalate budget or policy-level matters to the Operations Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of fleet or logistics experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to identify issues and decide on required actions.
- Competence to plan maintenance schedules.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and delegation skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Competency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Critical-thinking skills.
- Dexterity and physical stamina.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to use hands to grip, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to stand and walk.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, stand, or balance.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 180 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 300 pounds with assistance from others.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Preferred Qualifications
- ASE certification.
- EVOC certificate (AmeriPro will provide training).
