Logistics Manager - Transportation

About the Role

The Manager Logistics oversees the efficient operation of accounts, including managing P&L and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves leading and evaluating salaried and hourly employees, ensuring safety and compliance, and maintaining strong employee relations. The Manager Logistics collaborates with management and clients to meet operational needs, handles payroll, accounts payable, vendor quotes, and invoicing, and analyzes financial statements to provide reports to senior management. Additionally, this role conducts safety meetings and training.

Requirements

• H.S. diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse industry
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing teams and leadership
• Strong knowledge of transportation and warehouse logistics, safety, and security
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Bilingual in English and French (for Quebec locations) is a plus

Pay

Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $85,000, possibly supplemented by bonuses.
