Logistics Manager

Responsibilities

• Logistics and trade operations supporting Silvus Technologies.
• Logistics operations, freight, and carrier management.
• Supporting the distribution channels.
• Maintain and update Harmonized Tariff Schedule classifications and Export Control Classification Numbers.
• Support vendor inquiries.
• Coordinate brokerage and forwarder interfaces.
• Record keeping supporting global compliance initiatives.
• Attention to details for shipping documents.
• Complete freight and logistics costing analysis, reporting, and RFP/Bid processes.
• Manage security compliance data elements (PIP, CT-PAT, Denied Party Screening, etc.).
• Collaborate with business partners and Trade Manager.
• Support freight forwarders and collect shipments.
• Provide subject matter expertise for new international opportunities and projects.
• Work closely with the Purchasing team.
• Manage and motivate a team of Global Logistics Coordinators.
• Complete freight and logistics costing analysis, reporting, and RFP/Bid processes.
• Review and approve shipping invoices.
• Own, maintain, and manage local compliance.
• Manage and update local compliance data elements.
• Manage freight tables, weights, dimensions, and other shipping-related ERP settings.
• Ensure accurate shipping procedures.
• Select, hire, and evaluate employee performance.
• Manage internal communications and presentations related to key performance metrics, program updates, and ongoing program information.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, trade compliance, or supply chain.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
• Experience with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree or College Diploma within International Business or related field preferred.
• Preferred Certifications: CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) designation, equivalent credential, or active progress toward achieving one.
• Business Degree and ISM or CPSM or CCLP or APICS (CLTD) designation preferred.

Pay

Target Base Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00
