Logistics Manager

About the role

JAS is an international, non‑asset‑based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services. The Logistics Manager is responsible for developing strategies and implementing changes to improve the company’s logistics team and seek development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the logistics team to achieve company targets.
• Liaise with relevant parties for the setting up of logistics infrastructure in any new global markets.
• Develop and manage the logistics infrastructure, procedures, and systems in any new global markets.
• Design SOP for new projects and ensure SOP compliance.
• Manage the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability.
• Set up and refine daily logistics operations and procedures.
• Track quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
• Set up JAS’s e‑Commerce center and extend logistics business development to SPRC.
• Conduct performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Recommend hiring, firing, and promotion.
• Identify and resolve personnel issues.
• Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring of staff to develop skills to the highest level.
