Responsibilities
- Analyze current logistics processes, develop innovative solutions, and implement new technologies to optimize the movement and storage of goods.
- Partner with different departments and stakeholders to identify, implement and achieve operational efficiency.
- Utilize data analytics to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement within the production process.
- Create greenfield solutions or optimize brownfield using data analytics.
- Develop data-driven solutions to optimize operational workflows and material handling systems.
- Analyze current processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
- Design and optimize material flow strategies to ensure efficient and timely movement of materials.
- Collaborate with procurement, inventory, and production teams to streamline supply chain operations.
- Identify opportunities for automation to enhance productivity and reduce manual labor.
- Evaluate and implement automation technologies, including robotics and automated systems.
- Analyze labor requirements and forecast headcount needs based on production demands.
- Lead and manage cross-functional projects to drive process improvements and operational excellence.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with at least 5-7 years of experience.
- Proven experience in data analytics, process improvement, and material flow management.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with automation technologies and systems integration.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI,) and process mapping for operational processes.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with robotics and advanced automation technologies.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or related continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software preferred.
