Continental Battery Systems is a rapidly growing North American PE-backed company seeking a highly-skilled, energetic, and collaborative Warehouse Associate to join our team. The right candidate will be career-minded, customer-focused, and determined to add value within a fast-paced organization. This role involves safely recovering used batteries, performing customer installations, and handling warehouse tasks such as shipping, receiving, loading, inventory control, and battery maintenance.

Occasional deliveries may be required to support customer relationships. Experience with safe forklift driving practices and material handling equipment is significant. The role is critical to delivering a high-quality customer experience while increasing profitable sales of company products and services.

Responsibilities

• Safely recover used batteries and perform customer installations.
• Perform warehouse tasks including shipping, receiving, loading, inventory control, and battery maintenance.
• Record successful processes and procedures for all functions.
• Generate leads through team member referrals.
• Assist retail customers and perform battery installations.
• Load and offload vehicles, prepare shipments, and ensure the warehouse is orderly, safe, and clean.
• Label products and perform battery charging and reconditioning.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts and complete counts.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all inventory transactions.
• Perform “hot-shot” deliveries to maintain customer relationships, including delivering products, picking up used batteries, and replenishing consignment products.
• Coordinate regularly with supervisor to achieve targeted objectives.
• Train personnel on mastered job processes, techniques, and procedures.
• Perform facility and equipment maintenance tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 3.0 or higher GPA preferred.
• Experience with safe forklift driving practices and material handling equipment.
• Ability to consistently demonstrate excellence and contribute process improvements.

Schedule

Commonly an 8-hour shift scheduled between 7 AM and 6 PM, Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends.
