Logistics Coordinator (Swing Shift)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare items for shipments and manage the flow of raw materials through the supply chain.
• Work with other departments to ensure both internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Aid in the preparation of purchase orders and work orders.
• Communicate effectively with accounting to ensure accuracy, particularly for China work orders.
• Maintain and reconcile inventory accuracy of outside warehouses.
• Receive offsite, overseas purchase orders and work orders.
• Assist in the coordination of receiving trucks and unloading product(s).
• Stock the warehouse with appropriate tools as needed.
• Coordinate releases for incoming raw material/BOL, packing slips, and FDA releases.
• Validate and enter received products into the ERP system.
• Retain and update offsite location contact information and track offsite inventory using Excel or other proprietary systems.
• Issue returns for rejected raw material into Process Pro – PO, Packing Slip & BOL.
• Maintain the receiving schedule and review offsite inventory billing, authorizing invoices.
• Collaborate with outside freight forwarding agents to arrange incoming freight.
• Coordinate with other functional staff, including customer service, logistics, and planning.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Advanced computer literacy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Food Safety Requirements: High priority on food safety, quality, and sanitation. Must understand and execute Thrive Food's policies and procedures. Demonstrate accountability to Thrive Foods' food safety and sanitation guidelines and policies.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to perform the following functions with or without accommodations:
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling.
• Generally, the job requires 50% or more sitting, 50% or more walking, and 50% or more standing.
• Perform under frequent temperature variations and in a food manufacturing warehouse environment.
• Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees.
• The ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
