Logistics Coordinator (Ocean)

About the role

As a Logistics Coordinator focused on ocean exports, you'll manage shipments from origin to destination, coordinate logistics, serve as the primary point of contact for clients, resolve issues, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Manage ocean export shipments from origin to destination
• Cook up shipping documentation and transportation logistics
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
• Provide proactive shipment updates and maintain strong client communication
• Resolve shipment issues and customer concerns
• Cook up with carriers, vendors, and internal teams
• Manage billing and shipment-related administrative tasks
• Monitor shipment progress and ensure on-time delivery
• Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation

Requirements

• 3+ years of ocean export logistics experience
• Experience working within freight forwarding or logistics environments
• Knowledge of ocean export operations, including containerized and roll-on/roll-off shipments

Preferred Qualifications

• Magaya experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Additional freight forwarding software experience

$70,000 - $80,000 / Annually
