Logistics Coordinator / Freight Broker Associate

We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Freight Broker, Associate.
Responsibilities
- Secure coverage for booked truckload shipments while balancing cost, service, and profitability.
- Stay current on market trends and rates to support competitive pricing.
- Maintain accurate shipment information in TMW, AtlasNet, and other internal systems.
- Source and onboard new carriers and brokers that strengthen our network and service offerings.
- Track and monitor shipments, proactively communicating with customers to resolve issues.
- Partner with the STG team to identify backhaul opportunities and reduce deadhead miles.
- Perform other duties as needed to support team success.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma/GED required.
- An Associate degree in Supply Chain & Logistics, Business Management, or related field preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in freight brokerage, transportation, or logistics operations and/or a combination of both education and experience are required.
- Basic knowledge of TL, LTL, and freight pricing structures.
- Solid relationship-building skills in carrier negotiation.
- Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS), such as TMW is a plus.
- The ability to schedule, track, and manage shipments while resolving issues effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
