Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Yancey Bros. Co. has been the authorized Caterpillar equipment dealer for Georgia since 1914, dedicated to serving customers' evolving needs through high-quality sales, parts, and service.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day operations of shipping and receiving.
• Ensure materials are loaded and unloaded correctly and safely.
• Verify orders being shipped contain the correct materials.
• Work closely with Operations Manager, other coordinators, Project Managers, and Shipping/Receiving Lead Person.
• Keep Shipping/Receiving area clean and organized.
• Coordinate with team for pickups and deliveries of materials.
• Provide a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or related equivalent experience preferred.

• Advanced problem-solving capabilities.
• Previous experience and success in team leadership and development.
• Deep understanding of EPG packaging design business.
• Detailed knowledge of financial and operational metrics.
