Responsibilities
- Work with existing key accounts as well as develop and grow new business.
- Negotiate prices with shippers and carriers.
- Manage daily shipments and resolve issues to ensure customers' freight is handled promptly.
- Sell and close business from new and existing customers.
- Communicate professionally with customers and carriers.
- Enter shipment data and billing into the transport management system.
- Track and trace all shipments.
- Collaborate with various parties within the organization and the customer to meet their requirements and support the billing process.
- Coordinate within the department, including the account manager, collections department, and other parties as necessary.
- Assist with other tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Experience in logistics, trucking, or truck brokerage.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to support a fast-paced environment.
- One year of experience in office, administrative, and customer service responsibilities.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite, specifically Excel and TMS.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and invoicing.
- McLeod / PowerBroker experience is a plus, but not required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle conflict.
