Logistics Coordinator

Duties And Responsibilities

• Cook up door-to-door logistics for household goods shipments, including pickup, packing, transportation (ocean & air freight), storage, and delivery.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing updates and addressing questions or concerns throughout the move process.
• Prepare, review, and maintain shipment documentation (estimates, inventories, ocean bills of lading, AWBs, delivery receipts, etc.).
• Maintain watch on shipment progress and proactively settle delays, damages, or service issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable transportation regulations.
• Track shipment costs.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years’+ of experience in logistics, transportation, moving services, or relocation coordination preferred.
• Familiarity with GSA/ITGBL programs is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working in a networked environment using Windows and/or Windows like interface using Microsoft Office suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook at a proficient level.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
