Logistics Coordinator

Summary Of Responsibilities

Responsible to coordinate production orders against demand and forecast and purchase material, blanks and components, as required
Make suggestions for improving the accuracy and timeliness of information needed to place purchase materials and schedule production activities
Communicate with the production floor and shipping
Maintain and administer inventory control in relation to material, blanks and components.
Prepare and maintain various reports
Overhead crane and forklift certification
Cross training functions when assigned as necessary (ie. Coil bay coverage)
Other duties, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Valid forklift license and/or relevant years of driving experience
• Able and effective to manage time to meet required deadlines
• Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Visual & CMS
• Must be detail oriented
• Familiar with systems and customer portals where applicable

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• College level diploma or equivalent education and work experience
• Use all resources effectively
• High level of data accuracy
