Logistics Coordinator
About the role
Careerscape is supporting a client opening for an On-site Entry-Level Logistics Coordinator. This role focuses on coordinating shipments, monitoring inventory, communicating with vendors and carriers, maintaining shipping documentation, and supporting daily logistics operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in building a career in logistics, supply chain management, transportation, or operations.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience, organizational abilities, communication skills, and client hiring needs. Additional compensation and benefits details will be shared during the hiring process.
What you’ll do
- Cook up inbound and outbound shipments
- Schedule deliveries and transportation services
- Track shipments and resolve delivery issues
- Maintain shipping records and logistics documentation
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and carriers
- Prepare shipping reports and operational updates
- Ensure compliance with company logistics procedures
- Support warehouse and operations teams
- Absorb inventory audits and reconciliation
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes
- Perform additional logistics and administrative duties as assigned
We’re looking for
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- An associate's or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, administration, customer service, or related roles
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- A high attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- The ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- A professional, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
- Strong time management skills
Nice to have
- Internship or entry-level logistics experience
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Experience with shipping or warehouse software
- Knowledge of supply chain processes
- An interest in logistics and operations management
