Logistics Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

  • Efficiently schedule and prioritize service calls to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Dispatch and delegate work assignments to technicians based on skillset, availability, and job urgency.
  • Monitor job progress and maintain consistent follow-up to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Track material, verify availability, and follow up on lead times to keep projects on track.
  • Communicate daily with technicians, customers, and internal departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Update and maintain scheduling calendars and logs.
  • Aid in troubleshooting logistical issues as they arise and implement solutions quickly. (Some trade background preferred)
  • Utilize internet-based tools, Microsoft Outlook, and internal systems for scheduling and communication.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Help schedule vehicle maintenance for our technicians.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or a related scheduling role.
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Skilled in delegating tasks effectively and communicating clearly with technicians.
  • Knowledge of material tracking, ordering processes, and lead-time management.
  • Proficiency with the internet, Microsoft Outlook, and basic computer applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
