Job Responsibilities
- Efficiently schedule and prioritize service calls to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Dispatch and delegate work assignments to technicians based on skillset, availability, and job urgency.
- Monitor job progress and maintain consistent follow-up to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
- Track material, verify availability, and follow up on lead times to keep projects on track.
- Communicate daily with technicians, customers, and internal departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Update and maintain scheduling calendars and logs.
- Aid in troubleshooting logistical issues as they arise and implement solutions quickly. (Some trade background preferred)
- Utilize internet-based tools, Microsoft Outlook, and internal systems for scheduling and communication.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Help schedule vehicle maintenance for our technicians.
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or a related scheduling role.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Skilled in delegating tasks effectively and communicating clearly with technicians.
- Knowledge of material tracking, ordering processes, and lead-time management.
- Proficiency with the internet, Microsoft Outlook, and basic computer applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
