Logistics Clerk I - 1st Shift

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 1st Shift: 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM
• Overtime and weekend hours possible

Responsibilities

• Perform receipt of incoming goods and/or shipments of finished goods in compliance with established procedures
• Provide administrative support to the warehouse leadership team
• Check in drivers, review Bill of Lading, verify trailer seals, and schedule appointments
• Maintain shipping and/or receiving documentation, reconcile receipt information, and maintain daily reports
• Drive a forklift (preferred but not required)
• Prepare orders by processing shipments and sample orders; packing boxes; staging orders in delivery area
• Verify that goods are intact and report any defects
• Complete receipt and delivery of parcel packages to order requestor(s)
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Accomplish related results as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• Forklift experience (preferred but not required)
• SAP experience (preferred but not required)
• Microsoft Office Suite experience (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Read, write, and speak English
• Able to communicate and take direction from lead/supervisor/manager

Qualifications

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or six to twelve months related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility
• Ability to adapt to a traditional warehouse environment
• May be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and comply with OSHA standards
• Frequent exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors
• Safety glasses, facemasks, and hairnets (where applicable) may be required while performing specific tasks
