Logistics Attendant

Overview & Key Responsibilities

The DMS Logistics Specialist will provide oversight and coordinate shipping activities from operational sites where DMS performs business operations.

• Manage shipments of aircraft, engines, and parts to and from airframe and engine teardown sites to DMS warehouse and repair facilities.
• Provide oversight and guidance to material coordinators at the teardown sites and DMS.
• Perform shipment inventory reconciliations in SAP.
• Collaborate with DMS ITC Specialist on all international shipments to ensure trade compliance.
• Conduct SAP training at teardown sites to support teams and provide guidance with transactions.
• Troubleshoot and correct SAP errors and perform system transactions as SAP subject-matter experts.
• Establish SAP setup needs at teardown sites.
• Coordinate all parts robbing at airframe storage sites and manage backfills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional working experience in the aviation industry.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Materials Management or related field, or equivalent operational experience.
• Prior experience with import and export clearance procedures is a plus.
• Willingness to travel between 90% and 100% of the time.
• Willingness to work different shifts as needed to support the operation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Prior experience with MS Office, SAP, or other ERP knowledge.
