Logistics Analyst II
About the role
This position is incumbent upon contract award. Longeviti is seeking a Logistics Analyst Level II with an active Secret clearance to support the US Army at Fort Detrick in Frederick, MD.
Responsibilities
- Analyze logistics operations and develop workflow improvements that enhance production, distribution, and inventory management processes.
- Develop, review, and recommend procedures to improve distribution efficiency and inventory control while minimizing operational costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment strategies to ensure product availability and reduce shortages or excess inventory.
- Support medical logistics operations by tracking the movement of medical supplies, equipment, and materials throughout the supply chain.
- Analyze logistics data and prepare reports to identify trends, forecast requirements, and support management decision-making.
- Affiliate logistics and supply chain duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Average of four (4) years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, inventory control, or medical logistics.
- Working knowledge of medical logistics concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Experience analyzing logistics data and developing recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working under general supervision.
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Health Agency (DHA), Veterans Affairs (VA), or other federal medical logistics programs.
- Familiarity with automated logistics, warehouse, or inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of supply chain performance metrics and continuous process improvement methodologies.
- Experience supporting regulated medical supply or healthcare logistics environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Pay
$58,000 - $71,000 USD. However, Longeviti considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
