This position supports Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARFORSOC) G4 by coordinating, executing, and assisting with all Capital Construction functions.
Responsibilities
- Travel, plan, coordinate, execute, and/or assist in execution of all capital construction functions.
- Coordinate daily activities of MSC facilities operations with Marine Installations and bases, including planning, requirements development, use, maintenance, and improvement to support MARFORSOC garrison and operations mission requirements.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate facilities management functions of MARFORSOC through direct involvement.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Assist with generating time-phased short and long-term plans, policies, and vision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and twelve (8) years of relevant, progressive experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain an operator’s license for non-tactical and tactical equipment.
- Prior senior-level headquarters and/or battalion-level staff experience.
- Current knowledge and experience in Capital Construction.
- Ability to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Must exhibit professional behavior that promotes teamwork, fosters cooperation, and enhances productivity in the workplace.
- Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
- Must not pose a safety hazard to employees working in the same general area.
- If extended an offer and possessing dual citizenship, must be willing to relinquish foreign citizenship to obtain security clearance.
Work Environment
- Work performed in a cubicle environment inside a large facility.
- Work assignments vary based on client requirements.
- May require some night and weekend work.
- Some travel may be required based on client requirements.
Physical Requirements
- Sitting at desk for extended periods while using PC/laptop or phone.
- Phone use and PC or laptop operation.
- Filing required.
- May require lifting and carrying boxes of supplies or files up to 25 lbs.
Equipment and Machines
- General office equipment, including telephone, copier, PC/laptop, and other miscellaneous office equipment.
Attendance
- Must be able to work at least 8 hours a day for 5 days per week (Monday through Friday).
- Work assignments dependent on requirements by the client.
Other Essential Functions
- Grooming and dress are usually business casual, but dependent on client’s standards.
Pay
$50,000 (good-faith estimate; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws).
