Logistics Analyst– Domestic First Mile (Hybrid)

About the role

Target Global Supply Chain and Logistics is evolving rapidly, aiming to improve freight flow, automation, and customer service. We are seeking a Logistics Analyst – Domestic First Mile to support internal and external partners, drive process improvements, and enhance First Mile Scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide problem-solving support for internal and external partners to optimize freight flow through the network.
• Work in partnership with internal supply chain teams to drive process improvements and establish best practice SOP documentation.
• Manage external carrier and 3PL relationships, track performance, and address performance issues.
• Collaborate with internal and external product development teams to identify process opportunities within First Mile Scheduling.
• Serve as the problem solvers between field and transportation, influencing the future of inbound routines at Target.

Requirements

• A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
• A passion for transportation/field facing initiatives.
• A process-oriented approach with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to influence peers and key stakeholders.
• Strong reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills, able to think creatively and develop solutions.

Pay

The pay range is $58,100.00 - $104,600.00, based on various factors including labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.

Schedule

This position operates as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement, requiring the team member to perform core role responsibilities both onsite at the Target HQ MN location and virtually, depending on role, team, and task requirements. Work duties cannot be performed outside the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
