Responsibilities
- Ensure reliability, integrity and accuracy of data
- Undertake detailed and thorough logistics analysis and identify opportunities to aid efficiency and cost optimization through evaluation of data
- Achieve analysis in line with business goals and targets
- Create statistical and financial models and use appropriate software to review opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies in the logistics process
- Made recommendations based on findings and analysis
- Produced forecasts and estimates to aid financially sound decisions and cash flow planning
- Ensured logistics costs were monitored, managed, and under control
- Collaborated with stakeholders to determine effective solutions, participated in regular planning reviews and change processes, and prepared data in line with changes
- Set up and provided regular reports and data relating to specific areas of the logistics process such as supplier analysis, transportation costs
- Tracked logistics trends and used information to recommend changes
- Utilized knowledge and research methods to benchmark logistics activities and to drive best practice results
- Worked with Logistics and other appropriate staff to resolve issues
- Provided additional analytical support as required
- Reported on key performance indicators
- 3 years of experience in data analytics, or supply chain optimization
- Proficiency in computer databases, statistic applications and logistics programs
- Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Tableau, and ERP systems
- Familiarity with supply chain processes
- Strong analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Occasional bending, stooping, crouching, and kneeling to inspect vehicles
- Visual and auditory acuity to operate office and diagnostic equipment and communicate effectively
