Logistician

Job Duties

• Analyzes contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.
• Develops logistics plans in order to enhance distribution of goods and supplies.
• Identifies, prioritizes, and assesses key logistics assets and infrastructures.
• Crafts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory, and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or passing score on the General Education Development (GED) exam AND three (3) years professional experience that includes at least one (1) years of experience in providing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) in one or more of the following: Maintenance Planning, Supply Chain Management/Support, Technical Logistical Data, or Packaging, Handling Storage and Transportation.
• One (1) years of specialized technical experience in maintaining provisioning and preparation of government documentation within the logistical technical area’s purview.
• Proficiency in the utilization of the Microsoft Office suite. Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts, and strong interpersonal skills with good judgment.
• Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time, twist, bend, and squat periodically.

Qualifications

• Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.
• US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
