About the Role
We are seeking motivated and hardworking individuals for Datacenter Logistics Associate positions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. This role is integral to the operational excellence of a large-scale infrastructure environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure proper stock is maintained for build and repair activities.
- Receive, maintain, and check-out parts as needed to technicians and engineers.
- Load and unload shipments and transport parts between different locations.
- Keep precise records of all commodities moving in and out of the facility.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces.
- Handle vendor relationships as required.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
- Able to read and take direction in English.
- Willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Must be able to lift loads of up to 49 pounds and carry them for short distances; may participate in group lifts of 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the day.
- Coordinate body movements when using tools or equipment.
- Reach and stretch to position equipment and fixtures while maintaining balance.
- Continuously climb and descend stairs safely (applies to sites with stairs).
- Regularly walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Inventory Management Systems.
- Understanding of inventory control methodology.
- Demonstrated positive work attitude and leadership skills.
- Commitment to a culture of safety.
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Work Environment
- Requires standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods.
- Work is conducted in office and warehouse environments, with noise levels varying from low to loud.
- Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts.
- Temperature is typically between 60 and 90 degrees and may occasionally exceed 90 degrees.
- Occasionally exposed to extreme cold or hot weather.
