Locums Urologist

This role involves providing urology coverage with a focus on outpatient and inpatient care. Responsibilities include managing approximately 15 patients per shift, performing general urology procedures, TRUS biopsies, incontinence treatments, penile prosthesis, and ESWL procedures. Ideal candidates will have hospital privileges and skills in robotic surgery and nephrectomy are preferred but not mandatory. The position requires participation in 24-hour beeper call shifts, approximately one week per month, with coverage of both routine and urgent cases. Qualifications include relevant clinical experience and procedural expertise. The role offers competitive hourly pay, paid malpractice insurance, and pre-paid travel and housing expenses.
