About the role
PRN Physician for urgent care in a hospital setting, providing flexible coverage and emergency department support.
Responsibilities
- Perform standard urgent care procedures including immunizations and sutures.
- Manage patient flow, seeing 15-20 patients on weekday evenings, and 20-25 patients on weekends.
- Respond to severe cases in the emergency department as needed.
- Provide coverage to expand the locums physician pool.
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to handle urgent care procedures and hospital protocols.
- Flexible availability to cover shifts during specified hours.
- Comfort with managing a variable patient volume and emergency situations.
