Locums Pediatrician

About the role

This role involves providing outpatient pediatric care in a clinic setting, including sick and well visits, sports physicals, basic contraceptive management, wound care, suturing, incision & drainage (I&D), foreign body removal, and burn management.

The provider will supervise nurse practitioners (NP) and physician assistants (PA) on staff and must be comfortable prescribing ADHD medications.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pediatric care, including sick visits, physicals, and minor procedures
• Supervise NP/PAs on staff
• Prescribe medications, including ADHD meds
• Manage wound care, suturing, I&D, foreign body removal, and burn management
• Handle a patient load of approximately 23-25 per day

Qualifications

• Experience in pediatrics
• Comfort with prescribing ADHD medications
• Proficiency in procedures such as suturing and wound care

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Pay

Competitive hourly compensation, including paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses.
