Locums Pathologist

Position Overview: Seeking a licensed Pathologist with expertise in anatomic and clinical pathology to handle approximately 3,000 surgical pathology cases annually. Key Responsibilities: Review cytology cases (including FNA, no Pap smears), peripheral blood smear assessments, blood bank coverage, large specimen grossing, and frozen section procedures. No bone marrow or autopsy work required. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm, with no call requirements. Additional Benefits: Paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing, and assignment details managed through an online portal. Compensation: Hourly rates range from $180 to $220, all-inclusive, based on experience and qualifications. Support & Accessibility: 24-hour access to a dedicated healthcare consultant.
