Locums Pathologist

This role involves providing expert pathology services with a focus on anatomic and clinical pathology. Key responsibilities include reviewing approximately 3,000 surgical pathology cases annually, handling cytology cases (~100), peripheral smear reviews, and blood bank coverage. The position requires large specimen grossing and frozen section procedures, but excludes bone marrow procedures and autopsies. It offers an opportunity for vacation coverage and includes benefits such as paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and competitive compensation ranging from $180 to $220 per hour.
