About the role
Provide 24-hour orthopaedic surgery call coverage, managing 1-2 patients per shift. Cases include fractures, sports, and general orthopaedics; spine cases are excluded. Response time to beeper is 20 minutes.
Responsibilities
- Perform arthroscopy, total joint replacements, and joint revisions or repairs of the hip, knee, and shoulder
- Handle bread-and-butter orthopaedic cases efficiently
- Coordinate leave coverage
- Submit assignments and time entries through an online portal
Requirements
- Expertise in arthroscopy, total joint replacement, and joint revision or repair
- Charter member of NALTO
