About the role

The role is for an inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry unit, providing coverage until a permanent provider is found, with an average census of 6‑10 patients per day.

Responsibilities

• Manage an average census of 6‑10 patients per day.
• Provide inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry services.
• Provide coverage until a permanent provider is secured.
• Complete assignment details and time entry via the online portal.

Requirements

• Current hospital privileges.
• PALS and BLS certification.

Pay

Competitive compensation ranging from $185.00 to $230.00 per hour. The rate is all‑inclusive, combining base pay with potential earnings such as overtime, call, and holiday pay. Actual rates depend on the critical need of the position, experience, qualifications, and other factors.

Schedule

• 7 days on / 7 days off.
• On‑site hours: 7 am – 5 pm.
• On‑call every night with low callback burden (docs are second call to APP).
