Locums Obstetrics Gynecologist

About the role

This position involves providing obstetric care across two hospital locations, primarily during 24-hour shifts with a workload of 3–6 shifts per month.

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 200 deliveries monthly with a 30% cesarean rate
• Handle around 10 emergency department patients daily in OB emergencies
• Provide long-term coverage to ensure ongoing availability
• Collaborate with the team to deliver comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

• Experience in obstetrics and emergency obstetric care
• Ability to work independently during shifts
• Strong communication and patient management skills
