Locums Obstetrics Gynecologist

About the Role

We are seeking a hospital-based Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to provide coverage with a focus on delivering high-quality care. This role involves managing unassigned and emergent OB and GYN patients, with approximately 100 deliveries per month. About 25% of cases are high-risk and will be transferred out as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage unassigned and emergent OB and GYN patients
• Participate in in-house call shifts, including lighter weekend shifts
• Provide coverage for OB and GYN services
• Handle approximately 100 deliveries per month, including high-risk cases (25%)

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Fetal monitoring skills
• Hospital privileges
• Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology
