Details
- Hospital privileges at ECU Health Chowan Hospital
- 25-bed hospital
- 100% inpatient clinical care
- Provider must be comfortable with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- LT must respond to the hospital within 20 minutes
- Low Volume Emergency Department (7 beds)
- Epic EMR
- No ICU responsibilities
- LT will not respond to codes
- ECU Health Air and ECU Health Ground Support to immediately transfer patients when needed
- Delivery volume per month is 28-34
Coverage Needed
- OCTOBER: 10/2/26 8 am - 10/5/26 at 8 am
- NOVEMBER: Two weekend call coverage in November (Friday at 8 am until Monday at 8 am)
- DECEMBER: 12/18/26 8 am - 12/21/26 8 am
Provider Requirements
- Current ALSO Certification
- Evidence of completion of the AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course within the last 2 years
- Current NRP certification (required for ECU Health Community Hospital obstetricians)
