Locums Neonatology NP

About the role

We are seeking a healthcare professional to provide in-house coverage in a Level 2 NICU with a newborn nursery. The role involves solo in-house coverage during 24-hour shifts with a light clinical load of approximately 3 deliveries per shift. Candidates should be prepared for multiple shifts per trip, with occasional trips per month, supporting a busy neonatal unit.

Responsibilities

• Attend all deliveries and C-sections
• Manage neonatal patients and ensure quality care
• Support the opening of a new Level 2 NICU
• Provide potential flexibility to cover a Level 3 NICU

Requirements

• Experience in neonatal care
• Ability to handle deliveries and C-sections
