Locums Neonatologist

About the role

Seeking a skilled healthcare professional for inpatient and rounding duties, including call coverage, with a focus on pediatric and newborn ventilation management.

Responsibilities

• Managing non-invasive ventilation (neo-puff)
• Ventilating neonates and children
• Performing procedures such as intubation (ETT/NT), central lines, UVC, and UAC placement
• Lumbar punctures
• Chest tube insertions
• Nitric oxide use
• Attending high-risk C-sections

Schedule

Providing comprehensive patient care for 3-5 patients per shift during 24-hour shifts scheduled from Monday to Wednesday.

Essential skills

Proficiency in intubation, ventilation management, and various invasive procedures.

Qualifications

Relevant clinical experience with pediatric and neonatal patients, along with competence in advanced airway management and invasive procedures.
