About the role
This role involves providing inpatient and outpatient obstetric care with high‑complexity skills such as PIH, HELLP, VBAC, and vaginal breech deliveries. It requires managing 20‑30 patients per shift during Monday to Friday, 8 am – 4 pm. The position includes occasional phone consults with no on‑site call duties and offers the opportunity for coverage splitting—typically two providers sharing duties for two weeks each month.
Responsibilities
- Delivering vaginal deliveries
- Managing complex obstetric cases (e.g., PIH, HELLP, VBAC, vaginal breech)
- Managing 20‑30 patients per shift
- Providing occasional phone consults
- Participating in coverage splitting arrangements
