About the role
Locums Interventional Radiologist providing onsite radiology services with light interventional procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform a range of imaging modalities including CT, MRI, US, mammography, and nuclear medicine.
- Conduct image-guided procedures such as biopsies, drainages, lumbar punctures (LPs), myelograms, thoracentesis, paracentesis, arthrograms, and injections, within your proficiency level.
- Manage dictation using PowerScribe and utilize PACS (PAX Synapse).
- Ensure timely completion of procedures and maintain high-quality patient care.
- Provide radiology services two weeks per month, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend shifts.
- Communicate effectively and maintain compliance with licensing and credentialing requirements.
Requirements
- Board certification in Radiology.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- DEA license.
- Proficiency across all imaging modalities (CT, MRI, US, mammography, nuclear medicine).
- Ability to perform light interventional procedures.
- EMR experience with Meditech is preferred.
Schedule
- Two weeks per month, Monday to Friday.
- No night or weekend shifts.
